Nothing will break you like loving a crazy person:Tucaloosa movie review

This is 2019 movie . It's about one hour forty minutes long (1h 40mins) and the Genre is Drama. So if your mostly into action, then this might not be your style. But there are some really intensely climatic moments all through the movie . The main theme of the movie is racism and it'll become clearer and clearer as the plot thickens.  And you'll also get to experience the thrill and boldness of young love 😉😉
The movie revolves around Billy a fresh of college graduate who spends summer working at any asylum which his father heads and Virginia who is a patient at the asylum. They are seemingly star-crossed lovers.  Billy later discovers that she is not really insane but actually free spirited and was committed to the asylum because her father thinks she is a  "nymphomaniac" ( this is not a valid reason , you should find out the real reason for your self 🤣🤣) . They often times sneak off together and Billy eventually gets her pregnant ( shocker,  right? ) They finialy decided to run off together .
Then there is the relationship between Billy and Nigel ; Friends from childhood. Their mothers ran away after a 'torrid" affair . Sadly , they didn't get really far , they were killed. They sort of grow apart or rather , Nigel starts distancing himself because he doesn't know where Billy stands in the opposition to white authorities. But Billy still looks out for his friend and apparently even saves his life .
We can also see the plight of an allegedly oppressed black population who choose to result to violence to reach their goals . with Nigel justifying his actions with the meaning of tucaloosa; Black warrior .
From the movie you'll get to experience love , troubled friendship, oppression and resistance and a very clear description of racism . It'll be worth the watch. The movie entirely passes of this very tranquil vibe.
My favourite phrase from the movie is " nothing will break you like loving a crazy person " how well can you relate with this statement. Why don't you leave a comment 😉😉. And my favorite supporting character is Billy's grandpa. Their grandfather - grandson relationship is something that even direct parent and child relationships should aspire to have . 🙂  You should definitely go see the movie if you haven't.

figures of speech

LETS START FROM THE BASICS A figure of speech or rhetorical figure is figurative language in the form of a single word or phrase. It can be a special repetition, arrangement or omission of words with literal meaning, or a phrase with a specialized meaning not based on the literal meaning of the words. Figures of speech often provide emphasis, freshness of expression, or clarity. However, clarity may also suffer from their use, as any figure of speech introduces an ambiguity between literal and figurative interpretation. here are some figures of speech that we commonly come across 1.  Alliteration : The repetition of an initial consonant sound. Example: She sells  by the seashore. 2. Anaphora : The repetition of the same word or phrase at the beginning of successive clauses or verses. Example: Unfortunately, I was in the wrong place at the wrong time on the wrong day. 3. Antithesis : The juxtaposition of contrasting ideas in balanced phrases. Example: As Ab...

It centres on the life of young supernatural man who dabbles into the world of crime to provide better living conditions for his family. Will things end terribly for him or will he get away with everything ? You should definitely find out if you don't already know.😉😉😝      In this movie , you'll get to experience hate ,anger , oppression , all of which are tied to the harsh living conditions of supernaturals in the city. And how wrong circumstances can push you into doing really terrible things. Something you'll be able to relate to especially if you're a Nigerian , living in Nigeria( 🤣🤣 it's not easy at all, trust me)        Going further , why I found this movie quite interesting was because of how the condition of the supernaturals in the city was so identical to that of Nigerians .
