CAN YOU FALL IN LOVE IN ONE DAY ? THE SUN IS ALSO A STAR MOVIE REVIEW


Do you believe it's possible to fall in love in a day ? Well ,let's find out 🙂🙂The Sun is also a star is a 2019 movie. About one hour forty minutes long (1h 40mins) . It's a Romance with itsy bitsy drama ( okay!! maybe not so itsy bitsy) and it begs to answer the question : can you fall in love in a day ? ( Well, what's the answer, can you?  Don't be smug , leave a comment🤣🤣)
        Natasha Kingsley whose family faces deportation spends what seems to be her last day in America , looking to reopen her case with the court to avoid deportation and avoid parting with her beloved NEW YORK , comes in contact with Daniel Bae ( I know it's Korean and all ,but Bae🤣, just imagining saying it with a typical Nigerian accent , it'll have a whole new meaning 😅 . No offense to all my Korean brethren, love and light✌️✌️) who believes that they were destined to meet and luckily for him , the circumstance was right and they got to spend an entire day together , where he promised to make her fall in love with him ( charming attempt ,right?)
    Their day goes quite well actually as they really get to know each and even meet each other's parent's ( WOW !! i know right😉) and even get quite intimate , until all hope is lost ( Natasha's specifically) as her court case can't be reopened and she has to leave ( a tragedy right? Yes it happens) but their love story doesn't end there.  This is the part where you go watch it 🙂 you'll definitely enjoy it if your a sucker for Love
      So , moving Further , why the title " the sun is also a star " ? I for one believe it's the writer's way of getting people to acknowledge the sun as an important entity in the universe , the same universe that has cosmically arrange every happening and event , like the popular phrase " it's all written in the stars " . And guess what , I'm quite right ,as the author ( Nicola Yoon) of the book in an interview stated that the Sun Is Also a Star was inspired by Big History Project, which is a study examining the universe and its past, present, and future. Trust me there are a lot of philosophical ideologies in the movie that you'll get to learn if you watch closely.
        My favorite phrase from the movie is the most obvious one  " Deux ex machina" meaning " god from the machine" (this is so cliché to literature students 🤣🤣🤣 ) it is the literary term that refers to a character or event that exists to effortlessly solve a problem , this character or event is almost Divine , which can also be referred to as Divine intervention . In this case "destiny" as believed by Daniel . Favorite supporting character is Daniel's older brother ( might not be yours though🤣🤣) . 
     Finally, the entire "surface" idea of the movie is quite delusional, Falling in love in one day?  Infatuation , yes! I can understand as it's mostly misunderstood for love ( y'all getting infatuated and thinking it's love🤣🤣) but that's my opinion though, you can leave your comments. All in all . It's a really nice movie .

       Like a boss is a 2020 movie , an hour twenty there minutes long (1h 23mins ). It's Genres are comedy ( you're gonna laugh like hell🤣🤣🤣) and a bit of Drama .
